Where we work…
By embracing both inter-dryland
environmental variability and inter country policy contexts, this allows PANRUSA
to simultaneously investigate both key physical and key policy factors affecting
natural resource use and rural poverty in southern African drylands.
We are working in three
cross-border areas:

1.
Arid southwest:
a) Mier, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
b) SW Kgalagadi, Botswana
2. Semiarid northwest:
a) Ghanzi District, Botswana
b) Omakheke District, Namibia
3. Dry sub-humid southeast:
a) NW Province South Africa
b) Barolongs, Botswana
