was a research project conducted by researchers at the Department of Geography,
University of Sheffield and funded by the UK Department for International Development
(DFID)
PANRUSA aimed
to investigate policy impacts on community and household sustainable natural resource
use, decision-making and poverty alleviation in cross-border dryland regions of
Southern African drylands
The
project duration was May 1998 to April 2001
